The Vengeance Stand-Up is built on a tough composite carbon blank with added Geofibre and offers outstanding value for inexperienced or occasional trolling anglers. Perfect for small boats when fishing for small and mid-sized pelagic species, there are 4 models which cover a wide range of trolling and drifting styles used throughout the Mediterranean.
If you are looking for a very affordable trolling rod to use for most small and medium sized big game species found in European waters, the Vengeance Stand-up is an excellent choice. With a price that is actually cheaper than booking a day on a charter boat, the Vengeance makes ownership of a specialised trolling rod a possibility for the majority of anglers.
The composite carbon blank of the Vengeance Stand-up is reinforced with Shimano’s exclusive Geofibre. This combination increases the strength and robustness of the rod, whilst still retaining the correct action to fight medium sized game fish with confidence. Available in 4 options, the lighter 8-16lb and 16-20lb models are great fun when fishing for smaller sized fish, with the two stronger 20-30lb and 30-50lb models more suited to medium and larger pelagic species to be found in the Mediterranean Sea. All models are fitted with Shimano Stainless Steel Hardlite guides, an aluminium reel seat and an EVA profiled grips for secure handling.
