Daiwa have deserved reputation for their uptide rods and this all new Kenzaki model is a winner. The rod is based on a light but powerful 2 piece blank which conveniently splits into equal lengths making the rod easy to carry.
The Daiwa Super Kenzaki Uptide has the classic soft tip, increasingly powerful mid and stiff butt action which typifies a Daiwa uptide rod and makes them a go to rod for anglers all along the coast. The tip sits nicely in the tide and helps to prevent the lead from bouncing out as the boat moves in the tide. It shows bites superbly with both the classic slack liner and pull down bites registering a fish’s interest.
The increasing power of the rod helps with playing the fish and has the grunt to help lift a big fish up to the boat.
The Daiwa Super Kenzaki Uptide is finished with Fuji lined guides, Fuji DPS screw winch, Full EVA Handle and gimble butt cap.
