Solar SP C-Tech Sleep System
I just had to take a look at the Solar SP C-Tech Sleep System after so many people have said how good it is. As someone who is a terrible sleeper when on the bank, I was all ears and ready to give it a go! Solar certainly isn't the first name that would spring to into the mind of many anglers minds when discussing carp bedchairs and sleep systems, yet after hearing so many rave reviews about the SP C-Tech Sleep system, I just had to give it a go. I don't know why, but I just cannot sleep well on the bank. In 30 years of carp fishing I have yet to find a bedchair that has suited me well enough to give me a good nights sleep in my carp bivvy. I'll be honest, the original Trakker Levelite Oval Sleep System came close but then Trakker went and scrapped the wide version when they released the new models! Back to the drawing board...
And here it is, The Solar SP C-Tech Sleep System. I am a bit of a sucker for something that looks good, I know the looks don't effect the performance of a product but let's face it, we are all suckers for lovely looking product and I am no different! Now, on all the bedchairs and sleep systems I have ever owned, if they are going to structurally fail, it will be on the opening and closing brackets that allow the bedchair to fold up. Solar, being at the forefront of stainless and metalware for angling, have addressed this potential pinch point by designing their own twin hinge opening and closing bracket! Take a look below...
It looks and performs like a fantastic piece of engineering and nothing less than expected from a company with such pedigree surrounding metalware and stainless products. The mattress is the main thing for me and I can categorically say that the Solar SP C-Tech has one of if not, THE most comfy mattress that I have ever used. The air pocket mattress is both comfortable and really breathable so even in the hottest weather, you won't be cooking yourself over a low heat all night. The sleeping system part consists of a 5 season bag with a waterproof cover, not your standard configuration but I actually prefer it. Usually, between May and October I am more than happy to sleep under a bedchair cover on the mattress and ditch the sleeping bag element so this configuration really works for me! So far I have no complaints, the Solar SP C Tech Sleep System is for me, the most comfy sleep system/bedchair on the market today. I can see it being really popular with those who suffer with their backs when fishing as well, so bear that in mind if you suffer from the dreaded 'bedchair back' after a few days on the bank! That's all from me, only left to say is check out the Solar SP C-Tech Sleep System by clicking the link below!

Fishing for me has long been more than a hobby, but more of an obsession. Since as far back as I can remember, I’ve been fascinated by water, and all that which lives below the surface, and subsequently, as soon as I was old enough to hold a fishing rod, my angling journey started.
