Wychwood - Maximiser Rod

The Maximiser Rods from Wychwood Carp have been designed to deliver performance to satisfy the most discerning angler.

The blanks are made using an ultra-high modulus, low resin content carbon which results in a super crisp, fast taper action which help to deliver superb accuracy, even when fishing at range. Finished with a 1k matt weave, understated graphics, a full slim Duplon handle and black stainless fittings these rods look as good as they perform.

The 12ft 3.5lb model is capable of fishing solid PVA bags 100 yards plus with great accuracy, yet still retains excellent fish playing properties and enough shock absorption in the tip to prevent hook pulls, making it the perfect choice for most fishing situations. In spite of its power, this is not an out-and-out distance tool as such, but more of a finely tuned and versatile rod.

The 12ft 9in 3.5lb model has been designed purely with extreme range and incredible accuracy in mind. This model has a stepped-up butt section which dramatically increases power within the blank and the super-fast taper tip section helps the blank to recover at an incredible speed.

Both models feature 50mm butt rings, anti-frap tip ring and 18mm Fuji Reel Seat.
