The Sonik Xtractor+ Abbreviated Carp Rod builds on the legacy of one of Sonik’s most trusted ranges, now enhanced for even lighter handling and improved responsiveness. The entire range is constructed using high-modulus C6 carbon, delivering a crisp, progressive action while maintaining durability for everyday fishing. The bold RAW-carbon finish adds a rugged charm and lets you see the quality craftsmanship of the blank.
Performance-wise, it features super-light Seaguide TDG double-leg black guides with ADAMAN coating, and a smooth Seaguide XUT anti-frap tip ring with a slim zirconia insert—ideal for long casts with braid or fluorocarbon. The rod also includes a deluxe matt-black DPS reel seat, a slim Japanese shrink rubber abbreviated handle with a subtle flare for grip, a custom contoured line clip, and a black anodised butt cap etched with the Sonik ‘S’ logo.
The range covers compact lengths from 6 ft to 10 ft, including an 8 ft Recon and dedicated 9 ft/10 ft spod models. Test curves span from 2.75 lb to 4.5 lb, depending on model choice. All 8–10 ft versions feature a 40 mm butt ring, completing the compact, powerhouse setup acoustic anglers appreciate.
