The distinctive weave that can be seen on the Bassterra XT Sea Bass is created by Shimano’s exclusive Diaflash technology, which increases power and strength to specific areas of the Full Carbon blank. In the lower part of the rod this is used to generate the power to cast lures to distant feeding fish, or to take total control when playing fish near rocks and other structures. In the tip section it creates increased response which in turn makes lure control more effective and fishing more enjoyable. Available in 5 models covering light, medium, medium heavy actions, to cover all of the popular Sea Bass lure sizes from as small as 4g up to large 65g crankbaits and metal jigs, the BassterraXT is finished with high quality Fuji Stainless Steel Fazlite guides, a VSS reel seat and a split EVA handle.
