- We've been working on a solution to a problem that anglers been faced with for some time, how to safely and consistently discharge the lead when fishing with a helicopter setup.
- In order to be a true game-changing product, the Heli-Safe had to fulfill some important criteria… One such criterion was the ability to fish chod rigs at range. The heavy leads needed to fish at long range often become a problem once a fish is hooked.
- The combination of a very short hook link and large lead would often result in dropped fish.
- Likewise, venues that had been choked by weed often dictated that dropping the lead was paramount, something that just isn’t consistently possible with conventional systems.
- The demand from anglers to produce a drop-off lead system for use in these situations pushed us to develop the product you see before you.
- The Heli-Safe System enables you to drop the lead when the situation calls for it.
- When used in conjunction with our unique Helicopter Safety System and unique No-Trace Beads, you can fish a rotary-rig setup in situations that would have previously led to the loss of hooked fish.
- The system works by employing a pressure-release function, not seen in the angling world until now. The latched lead clip will open once a hooked fish pulls against the angler, allowing the lead to drop free.
- By threading a Barrel Bead onto the leader above the Heli Safe, you will prevent the lead from discharging, should you pick up weed or other detritus on the retrieve. Once engaged in battle though, the bead will simply pull down and allow the lead to discharge.
- The unique design enables the angler to choose when to drop the lead, and when to retain it. In situations where it’s not necessary to discharge the lead, a small plastic collar (which is supplied in the kit) can be fitted to fix the lead in place.

FREE UK STANDARD DELIVERY
Free Standard Delivery will be dispatched and delivered within 3 - 5 working days and will be sent on a 48-hour service. This applies to all UK mainland orders over £25 (excludes weekends and bank holidays).
All orders placed during a weekend or bank holiday will be processed on the next available working day. This includes all bank holiday Mondays, Good Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day, and Easter weekend.
PLEASE NOTE: Our couriers only deliver during working days so all orders dispatched on a Friday should be delivered the following week within 2 - 3 working days. Our couriers deliver 7am - 7pm.
NEXT DAY DELIVERY
Next Day Delivery orders (regardless of size) placed before 11am will be dispatched that same working day.
Next Day Delivery orders (regardless of size) placed after 11am will be dispatched the next working day.
Next Day Delivery orders (regardless of size) placed after 11am on Friday will be processed on Monday (except for a bank holiday in which case this will be a Tuesday).
PLEASE NOTE: Our couriers are not active during weekends so your order will not be picked up until Monday and delivered until Tuesday.

Please check your confirmation email and if you have placed a preorder you will need to contact our Customer Service team directly to authorise a partial dispatch of your order. Returns Information
RETURNS POLICY
To be entitled to a full refund or exchange, we must have received the returned item in unused condition in the original packaging within 30 days of you taking delivery. If you return your purchase by post or courier after the periods outlined above (except for faulty or damaged products) we reserve the right not to process your return.
When returning products, please use the My Returns section of the My Account page to start the return. Our team will get back to you as soon as possible to accept the return. You will be sent a returns form by one of our Customer Service team members when the case has been accepted.
Please make sure you select the correct reasons/actions. Incorrect details where we have covered shipping on a case that should have been the buyers' responsibility will result in shipping costs being deducted from the refund amount.
