The Drennan Vertex Carp Waggler has a nice through action which is great for playing fish and for avoiding hook pulls. At 10ft (3.05m) long, this waggler rod uses a high modulus carbon blank which is great for accurate casting with fast line pickup.
The lightweight and perfectly balanced rod has progressive reserves of power and a tip action to minimise hook pulls. The rod handles everything from small silverfish to F1's and plays bigger, hard fighting carp perfectly.
Ideal for commercial fisheries, the Drennan Vertex rod sports SiC line guides and a cushion strike tip for all types and sizes of wagglers. Drennan recommends the ideal reel line to use has a breaking strain between 4lbs to 8lbs.
You can attach your selected reel with the screw-down reel seat which paired with this carp waggler rod offers excellent playing action. If that was not enough, these Vertex rods feature a high-grade cork handle with EVA casting grip to ensure a light yet durable handle that keeps you in control of a battle with a monster carp.
