Built with the signature ‘Light Tough’ DS 4 body frame, which has been developed by Daiwa with compact reels in mind, you can be sure the Daiwa 19 is robust enough to survive session after session on the bank. The reel is also fitted with the robust Digigear CNC machined internals for consistently reliable performance for years to come.
The spool is cut to the longcast design, with angled edges improving the release of line on the cast, getting your rig further a more accurately than ever before. On retrieval the slow oscillation cross wrap system loads line back onto the drum perfectly, giving incredible line lay.
