Predator fishing has boomed in recent years! Anglers in their droves are heading off in search of monster pike, perch and zander. One method that has grown massively is spinning with lures and spinners. A braided mainline is the go-to material for most lure anglers, so here is our pick of the best braid for spinning reels!
WHY BRAID?
Braid is a woven material consisting of multiple strands woven together to create a very strong braid. They can be made much thinner than normal monofilament main lines, and as a result, you can get away with a much higher breaking strain without using anything too thick or cumbersome on your reels. Braid, by its very design, has very little stretch in it, perfect for connecting with those bites when lure fishing or spinning.
