The XT30 carbon is mixed with Geofibre in this blank. Geofibre is a material which has been exclusively developed by Shimano in order to create a blank that is rigid and offers high tensile strength without breaking the bank. Geofibre is derived naturally making it ideal for rods on the mid-to-low end of the price spectrum.
Available in 13ft and 14ft lengths this rod is best suited to the bigger venues on the match fishing circuit. Both the rods are fitted with Shimano’s Hardlite guides. Hardlite is a strong material that balances performance and durability perfectly.
