Fishing Socks FAQs

What are the main differences between ‘standard’ socks and fishing socks?

Often, very little, other than aesthetics. However, some are more specifically manufactured to make them warmer/more breathable / more durable around the heel, or even waterproof.

Will the socks keep my feet dry?

Most will not, unless they are breathable or waterproof.

Are the socks insulated enough to wear in cold conditions?

Some socks will be, and will often be marked as such. Merino wool, socks are excellent in colder weather.

Do you offer bundles or multipacks?

On some brands, they will do a twin pack.

Are the socks breathable/suitable to wear in warmer weather?

This will depend on the manufacturer, but most will be.

Are there size guides available so I know which size to order?

Most socks come in two sizes small/medium (6-9) and large/XL (10-13) so sizing will be fairly easy to ascertain from your show size.
