The Shakespeare SALT XT Uptide rod is a unique rod for its price. By using the best quality carbon, the slim blanks are quick to react and yet very powerful and stable. The rod was specially developed to be able to cast heavy rigs very far, but the sensitive tip enables perfect bite detection. The special short butt-long tip section ensures a perfect bend of the entire blank and keeps the power in the hand part. In addition, the rod is equipped with special, SW-safe K-rings, which ensure that the line can no longer wrap around the rings, which prevents knots or breaks.
