The Shakespeare SALT Pier Pounder is a ready-to-fish combo for the anglers who would like to give fishing from the pier for flatfish, seabass, pollock, mackerel, etc. a try without directly spending a large amount of money. The strong and 10ft long 2pcs glass fiber rod is equipped with stainless steel guides and have ergonomically shaped, high-density EVA handles. The strong graphite reel is fully spooled with good quality mono to make sure you will be able to reel in the biggest fish you will hook in the salt!
