Fox Frontier Lite: A Total Fishing Tackle Review

The Fox Frontier range of bivvies arrived nearly 12 months ago and was an instant hit amongst carp anglers such as Ali Hamidi, Mark Pitchers, and Tom Maker, to name but a few.
There was just one thing missing from the range though, a lightweight version for quick overnight sessions or day sessions. Many carp anglers have been asking for a lighter version of the Frontier and now, Fox have released exactly what their customers have been asking for……
ABOUT THE FOX FRONTIER LITE
The Fox Frontier Lite is in essence a stripped back, lightweight brolly version of the Frontier Bivvy range and we love it!
The Frontier Lite is packed with features but there is one element that really surprised us here at Total Fishing Tackle HQ – the price. But more on that later…..
The list of said features is long and we are amazed that Fox have managed to include so much into the shelter itself. The main features are as follows.

There is no doubt that the Fox Frontier Lite is packed with features but let’s take a closer look at a few of them.
The ETS (Easy Tension System) is an absolute dream to use, the shelter goes up in minutes, in fact less than a minute once you realise just how easy the system is to use!
The flat back profile means you can shove the bedchair right to the back, maximising the amount of usable space and keeping you nice and dry if the weather turns wet.
On the flip side of that, there are also rear camo vents at the rear, so in warm weather you can open these up and get good airflow through the shelter keeping you nice and cool.
There are also various add on’s that you can buy, including a solid front that turns the brolly style shelter into a full bivvy.
