If you are experienced or looking to get into match fishing, then you'll need a good quality pole! There are a variety of options available, so we have tried to cover each price point of low, medium and high to cater for all budgets.
MODERN POLES
The match fishing poles available today are a far cry from those in years gone by! We used to have to use long glass fibre poles that weighed a ton and were basically like holding an elastic band, they were that floppy! Luckily, technology has come a long way and modern poles are an absolute joy to use! Much stiffer and lighter, with a range of top kits and accessories to suit all angling situations. Companies like Preston Innovations, Matrix, MAP, Daiwa, Garbolino and Maver are leading the way in pole design, so let's dive straight in and take a look at some poles!
TOP CHOICE!
Matrix MTX5 V2 - To produce a pole better than the original MTX 4 was never going to be easy but in doing so Matrix has created the ultimate flagship pole for competition fishing. The MTX 5 raises the bar to new heights with unrivalled performance in every area.
