With its dark silver metallic frame and machined aluminium handle this is a reel that looks good at the waters edge.
Fitted with an AR-C spool, the Ultegra XS-D is a classic big pit reel. The AR-C spool is fitted is a unique angled spool lip that lets the line fly from the reel with minimal friction allowing you to maintain line speed to achieve those fantastic distance casts. X-Ship engineering in the Hypergear system supports the pinion gear, positioning it with precision centrally on the drive gear to achieve full efficiency.
