The TLD 2 Speed is a classic reel for the angler seeking sharks, skate and other large species. It is based on the basic bullet proof TLD model but with a manual twin speed gearing system which allows you to quickly change between the fast 4.0:1 standard gearing and the whopper stopping torque laden 1.7:1 low ratio. High speed is perfect for general use but if you need to haul a stubborn monster to the boat then the low ratio gives you the torque needed to pull the fish up from the depths.
The TLD 2 speed has a strong cold forged aluminium spool which holds ample line. Harness lugs in case you are in for the long haul and a loud ratchet to get your heart going when you first get a run!
