With a staggering four years of development behind them, our brand-new Prologic Inspire SLR bivvies are set to cause a real stir in the carp fishing world – we left no stone unturned in creating the ultimate quick-erect bivvy. The clue with this range is in the name: SLR stands for Spring Loaded Reflex. This is the headline feature of the range and offers super-quick set-up and pack-down with a focus on effortless time efficiency.

The SLR has been designed with aluminium profiled frames that give great headroom and ensure you have the best optimised and useable space inside, as well as increased stability and comfort. It also features a radical new front peak design that channels rainwater away from the front of the bivvy meaning you no longer have to worry about puddles forming inside the entrance. Protection from the elements and living comfort is further aided by the Pro-Tex fabric, which is fully breathable (20,000mm), waterproof, extremely durable, and amazingly lightweight.

The SLR also features our Pro-Vent system with a fully removable front infill panel, fitted with covered mosquito windows and door. This can be quickly and easily changed to a full mosquito mesh front if preferred. In fact, the SLR has no less than four extra-large rear and side-covered mosquito windows, ensuring you always have the very best in ventilation and panoramic views. It makes the bivvy ideal for fish spotting or optimising drafts on hot summer days. The supplied Condenser wrap works in perfect harmony with the bivvy, shielding the top section where hot air rises and allowing that air to cool down much more slowly and naturally. This helps prevent condensation build-up and also acts as a great natural insulation barrier when used in colder conditions. The Pro-Vent system also benefits from using the condenser wrap – the vents can be adjusted so only the top part is opened which is then protected from any rainstorm by the condenser wrap. Pro-Tect ground sheet completely seals the SLR off from the outside world and is connected to the bivvy via strong zippers 10cm above ground level, ensuring surface water will not intrude. It also helps keep out pesky critters, helping to create a great night’s sleep where your only interruption will be the sound of your bite alarm.
