The internal electronic system has been tested for over one year all across Europe, facing every possible fishing and weather condition. The modern design includes a very deep rod recess which makes it possible to fish extreme situations without the use of additional snag ears. Alarms operate with AAA batteries, while the receiver operates with a 9V battery, this creates the best possible compromise between energy consumption and wireless range.
