Guru - Aventus R Distance Feeder Rods

Guru Aventus R Distance Feeder Range includes six specialist rods designed to cover every aspect of distance feeder fishing on large natural venues.  The Distance Feeder rods use the new Aventus DT Quivertips with Fuji KW Anti-Tangle Guides and Alconite Rings for maximum durability and performance when casting at range.

10ft & 11ft Distance Feeder Rods
The 10ft and 11ft Distance Feeder rods have been developed to offer greater versatility and power while retaining a compact rod length. Featuring higher tapered blanks, these rods deliver increased casting power for longer distances while still performing exceptionally well at closer ranges when additional strength is required. They are particularly effective when targeting large carp, providing the backbone needed to control powerful fish without sacrificing responsiveness.

12ft & 13ft Distance Feeder Rods
The 12ft and 13ft Distance Feeder rods feature a slightly stiffer and faster blank compared to the previous Aventus generation. Thanks to the integration of Zero90X and RJS technologies, torque is significantly reduced, resulting in more accurate casting at longer distances while maintaining a smooth fish-playing action. The progressive curve ensures secure hook holds, even when using smaller hooks. A new 12ft three-piece model has also been added to the range. This version features a softer tip section, making it ideal for delicate presentations when targeting species such as bream, skimmers, and quality roach on natural venues. The more forgiving tip action is particularly beneficial when fishing small hooks and lighter lines, while the three-piece design makes transport and storage much easier.

14ft Distance Feeder Rod
The 14ft Aventus R Distance Feeder rod has been significantly upgraded to deliver greater casting power than its predecessor.
Extensive testing showed that achieving a meaningful distance increase over the 13ft model required additional structural reinforcement. As a result, the blank stiffness has been increased to unlock around 10% greater casting potential. Despite this increase in casting power, the integration of Zero90X and RJS carbon technologies ensures the rod still retains a responsive and progressive fish-playing action. This rod is the ultimate choice for large reservoirs, wide rivers, and European feeder venues, where extreme distance and pinpoint accuracy are essential.
