This QDA model embraces many of the top features of the previous family with some improvements of its own including stunning looks; of course.
At its core is the increased accuracy of gear meshing thanks to Digigear II, enhancing its smooth feel and power conversion under loading. This is further assisted by the strength of Air Rotor and Air Bail.
When it comes to big distances the Windcast is ready with the HIP high impact line clip and amazing retrieval of 106cm even with a sub 5.0:1 ratio.
QD Drag offers total control of free spool and fish playing in one action and the full spec spare spool on all models ensures a second line choice.
The family is rounded of nicely with a classy Spod n Mark version featuring a 5.5:1 ratio and retrieval if 120cm per handle turn. That’s the same as the classic Emcast Spod.
