The Whisker name has been synonymous with Daiwa carp rods for decades.
Now, utilising X45 Bias carbon tech combined with HVF nanoplus this Whisker edition sets a whole new bar for performance and price.
The torque busting control of X45 ensures accuracy and low resin, high density carbon delivers the power to deliver distance when needed.
Kicking off at 10’ in 3.5lb followed by three choices at 12’: 3.25lb, 3.5lb and 3.75lb.
However, the 12’6” Special with the 3.75lb t/c is likely to find favour with those who fish further as a matter of norm. But where big and further is the challenge, two 13’ editions of 3.75lb and 4.0lb finish off the line up.
Additional Daiwa tech is present in V-Joint Alpha; the bias carbon joint design that ensures the smoothest curvature.
All models are furnished with SeaGuide AB-TCDG guides which have toughened Adaman finish.
The whole blank has received a low glare matt finish including the thread wrapping.
The handle design utilises a Fuji DPS reel seat, Full shrink grip and a short flared butt grip.
