The unique profile of Magnum Taper combined with the untouchable carbon tech of X45 and HVF nanoplus sees MT Infinity rods now surpass all levels of performance that has gone before them.
Delivering truly outstanding numbers in testing, every model reached improved distances with some by over 10%. Further yes, but importantly maintaining the superior casting accuracy they are already known for. With over 30 years of Made in the UK pedigree, the Infinity mark has long been a standard that many have tried to follow. But with now even greater reach and still pinpoint delivery, that level has now been raised. All designed as fishing rods first, the range begins with two 10’ editions of 3.0 and 3.5lb. These gems still proved capable of hitting towards 130yds but in many instances baits may be dropped by boat. Three choices are offered at 12’. The 3.25lb will suit most waters and get you to 175yds if needed. The 3.5lb, is a versatile choice, with a slightly higher loading point. But it is the
3.75lb that may prove the most popular. Hitting just under 200yds in field testing and with that renowned fish playing versatility it could be the only rod any carp angler may ever need. Where an increase in rod length is preferred or required, two 13’ models are available. The 3.75lb is designed to touch that 200yds mark in the right hands. Yet, bigger and even further is required and it is the 4.0lb edition that serves. It regularly took the marker beyond 200yds and still played those big and elusive fish with responsiveness and feel. Baiting up at these fishing ranges is a true speciality, demanding the right tools to deliver it. Serving spodding and marker work the 12’ and 13’ SPDM editions feature 4.5lb and 5.0lb test curves. Both can hit 200yds with the biggest model surpassing 200yds in tests. We have designed a superior level of performance but with an understated look. All models feature American Tackle TiForged Air guides. Their forward facing, wider profile dramatically reduces backlash. The handle combines elegance and function with a full length Japanese shrink grip and flared butt along with a soft touch American Tackle CRSD-CF reel seat. All this craft is rounded of with the subtle touch of a laser etched UK flag on the end cap.
