As a name the Connoisseur need little introduction, especially to those who float fish often on wild waters.
Utilising High Volume Fibre nanoplus enhanced by torque resistant X45 in key areas, some models are over now 10% lighter than their predecessor. This latest range now serves even those who seek a rod for close range float work, where speed of small fish may be called for. The 11’6” edition is a 2pce design that weighs only 130g. Perfect for mid water waggler work or close range where lots of bites are expected. Short maybe but it is ready too for any big bonus fish, with adequate backbone where required. For many, the ‘go to’ version is the 13’. Highly versatile it can handle waggler and top and bottom set ups with ease. There are standard and power choices in the 14’ and 15’ models, offering a higher loading point and plenty of control on bigger fish. The 17’ model is a 4pc and even as being such a big rod it still offers remarkable subtlety and control. All models are furnished with SeaGuide HLG line guides and are duo Duplon Armlock handle.
