Fox Horizon X4 TT Carp Rod
The Fox Horizon X4 TT is an exclusive design for us here at Total Fishing Tackle. The rod comes in a 12ft 3.25lb test curve spec and carries a full shrink handle. The fun doesn't stop there however, Fox have added a full 2K weave carbon wrap, 18mm Fuji reel seat and special anti tangle guides. Fox Horizon X5 Carp Rods
We are really going crazy now! The X5 sits at the top of the tree in the Horizon Rod range and rightly so. The X5 rods use cutting edge Carbon technology for a stronger, lighter, thinner and more powerful blank. Using several multidirectional layers of thinner carbon cloth with nanofiber technology that are electro bonded together during the curing process. All push over joints feature additional carbon reinforcement. The X5 blanks have superior recovery to improve distance and accuracy in casting whilst still retaining a superb playing action. Fox Horizon X4 Spod and Marker Rod
Every carp angler should have a spod/marker rod and the Horizon X4 is certainly one to consider. There has been no loss in quality from the fishing rod range of the X4 family and the only real difference is the stiffer blank, purposely designed to launch spombs, sonars and marker set ups to their intended target. The features are the same as the X4 fishing rods, but just to recap the main things to look out for; the anti tangle guide are a god send when using braid to spomb or marker at range, high winds can often cause the braid to tangle around the end of the rod often resulting in a crack off (expensive if using a deeper sonar!) or worse, a snapped rod. The graphics are smart but subtle and the 50mm butt ring helps distance casting no end. The blank is heavier as with most spomb rods, but after an hour of work I didn't feel like I needed a lie down and a massage like I have with others! Again, the price is the best feature at just
