Although designed for targeting smaller species like Zander, Perch and Chub, this rod has hidden reserves of power for dealing with quite large pike when they are undoubtedly encountered. Used in conjunction with a twenty pound braided line and a fixed spool reel, this highly responsive rod will work smaller jigs like our 3” & 4” Chubby Shads, spinners, tiny spoons and small plugs in a variety of waters either from the bank or from a boat.
