A 3k wrap on the butt section with a 2K tip creates the right mix for this specialist two piece stalking rod which is small and tough enough to cope with big fish in snags but which has enough poke to chuck a 2 or 3oz lead a long way if needed on bigger venues. The 2.75lb test is a through action with a bit of tip speed and it is the perfect rod for boat work on European venues where our consultants are fishing them afloat in sets of three for very serious fish!

Light but with enough power to apply the brakes to big fish when needed this beautifully through actioned 2.25lb test rod is the perfect tool for surface or zig rig fishing when fish are up in the water but it is equally at home setting traps in the margins or fishing the middle distance if required and it is an incredibly versatile stalking rod for a range of applications where space isn’t restricted.

STALKER 12FT 1.5LB FLOAT
Designed primarily for float fishing for carp on the Dutch and Belgian canals this two piece float rod is also a perfect all round specialist float rod for other species, such as tench, and it has also been used successfully on commercial fisheries in the UK. The fact that it is two piece rather than the usual three makes it easy to keep set up in your sling or holdall between sessions.
Guides are sized and spaced as for a traditional-style float rod.
